Redefining a community

Downtown Benton Harbor is thought to be an old industrial city, and had been suffering an economic downturn long before the recent recession with an unemployment rate at nearly 20 percent. This campus redevelopment project is part of a larger effort to redefine a once thriving community and bring jobs back to the area.
